While rustling through my collection I've noticed many Jefferson nickels! I didn't realize the majority of my collection are the famous Jefferson nickel. How 'bout you guy's? What denomination would be your majority in your collection?

percentage-wise I've got a ton of Mercury Dimes and Franklin Halves. Trying to branch out, as per another thread I just started

    I appreciate Jeffersons.
(Not the hideous ones being issued since 2006...they are atrocious.)

The Jefferson Nickel collecting craze came to an end in the mid-1960's. They have never really recovered.

    All glory is fleeting.

At this point I’m a type collector with one or two examples of a bunch of different stuff. I probably have more classic commems than anything else.

Jefferson nickels would be the minority in my collection....Morgans, Kennedy's, Franklins, Buffs, Peace, Commems, Mercs... I know I have a war nickel collection...not much beyond that thought. Cheers, RickO
