Grade this 1937-d three legged buffalo nickel. This was the first collected buffalo nickel variety that went back to the late
1930ies or early 1940ies. (The 1918/7-d came later)

probably gave this an xf grade even though it only a v-fine at best coin! just goes to show you never know, like they say buy the coin not the holder!

Used to be an F15. Current grading would be closer to VF30
VF30 while I remind myself that even Mint State coins tend to look AU. isn't that because we want to grade this issue off of overall detail which isn't usually very sharp?? MS coins look AU, AU's look XF, XF's look VF, VF's look F.........................

I would grade a f-15 becuase of the horn, but technically, surface preservation its probably graded 30-35 at least ill bet
