Unopened Unicorn - 1967 Topps Baseball (2nd Series) Rack Pack featuring Mantle, Stargell, & Mathews
Extremely excited, yet humble, to share this BBCE 1967 Topps Baseball (2nd series) Rack Pack that has defied all odds making it a Vintage Unopened Unicorn!!
When I first saw the announcement by Heritage about the Texas “find” I was immediately captivated and began thinking about this particular pack almost daily.
I finally reached out to Steve Hart (BBCE) as I wanted to know how he positioned this rack pack against the many unopened items he has seen over the years. I already had my mind made up to try for it but it is always fun to hear Steve's insight. His response was “That rack was killer. Yes, one of the cooler items I have handled. In addition, the header card and everything else could not have been stored any better.”
A pack for the ages!!

Wow!!! Incredible pickup. Big time congrats.
Awesome addition to your collection.
You never cease to amaze me! Great pick up...truly "a one of a kind"!
Wow a 1967 pack with 3 HOFers. That is something hard to beat.
How some kid never saw that pack with Mantle on the top in 1967 I will never know. I bet this never even made it to a store shelf as I am sure a kid would have grabbed it right away.
Awesome pick up. This hobby never ceases to amaze me.
You mean you didn't pick up both racks with Mantle front and center while you were at it? Ha! That is pretty unbelievable. I like just seeing pictures of it.
Great work!
I was looking at this again tonight and saw the Twins rookies on the back and for a second I thought it was a Carew!!
@brad31 - The Twins rookies card on the back has had a lot of 2nd looks for sure!! I bet a Mets rookies card would too!!
Amazing rack!
