1800 The Monopolizer. This token and the Payne hanging pieces have always been amongst my favorite satirical issues. It’s hard to find a piece that has a devil, a man shallowing the entire planet and coins passing through boney fingers wrapped up it a neat little bow. The added bonus is this token has the reflectivity of a PL Morgan which makes it even more dramatic.

1616 (80) Vomiting Dog. This piece has eluded me for years. Rich in symbolism and just bizarre enough to make it into the collection. Love that dang dog. Well hammered up piece.

@Justacommeman - as always, interesting pieces. That's got to be some story to go from proof Walking Liberty Halves to this stuff.

That vomiting dog piece has a lot going on. Need to learn more about that one...

Those Germans! Always know how to spice it up. ;)

I’ve got a German piece with 2 humping Daschunds. Sort of appropriate in a strange way. I won’t even say what’s in the reverse.

Dramatic is a good adjective for The Monopolizer - wow! Thanks for sharing.

Didn't the USPS lose a package of CRO's about fifteen years ago that had a vomiting dog in it? I wonder if it's the same piece.
