Anyone know who made the attached 12 ct rolled gold coin case? Is this a manufacturer's stamp. I believe it's British and from the mid to late 1800s or early 1900s.

Did you find the maker? It could be German. Here is Jakob Grimminger's mark - which is a "G" inside a Star of David. https://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_marks_a1884_3.html
Not yet - also no G inside the Star of David.
