This is the 1827/7 JR-1 with the David J.Davis Pedigree. David was one of the 5 authors of the "Early United States Dimes 1796-1837" Book on Bust Dimes for those unaware of the name. Thanks for looking and comments welcome. :)

Nice! An RPD. Now Jon, I notice the slab is recognizing the RPD by having the 1827/7.
One would think, the three letters, RPD, would be on the coin as well? Hmmmm? :)
Man! What a exquisite collection you have. <3

Wow that's worse than a typo ……. that's just wrong. Fixed.

Great coin. One of the ones I was out bid on at the auction. Glad it has a good home.

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
