A shout out to Crazy Hound Dog! A very humble and generous man...

When I posted my pictures of my recently won 1926 $2.5 Toned Sesquicentennial and lamented that my photo skills do NOT do the coin justice, I received a message (almost instantly) from @crazyhounddog offering to take some glamor shots of it...FREE! He said, "I hope I can live up to your expectations." Can you imagine that!

The generosity on this forum never ceases to amaze me!

I sent it off to him yesterday and can't WAIT to see the results! Here are my pictures...

Can't wait to see them! I had my eyes on that one too, but the seller pictures made me pause. Looks like I should have pulled the trigger!

I've never had the pleasure of meeting CH in person, seems like he would be a very nice and engaging individual. Looking forward to his photos.

We're all in for a treat when that piece sits for its portrait in Joe's Studio.

I met Joe at my first coin show! He is a genuine man and so is his son! Your coin is in good hands and I'm sure the pictures will be amazing!

Joe is a great person and fun to be with. I met him and his Son at the FUN show right after the Fire when he brought his coins to PCGS to be worked on. We visited and hung out together for most of the 3 days I was there. Looking forward to seeing him again at FUN for some fun!

I'm sure his pics of your coin will look great. Yours look pretty good....nice looking coin!

Don't forget the 1927 $2.5 Indian you pushed my way as well... :D

I kinda like having you around to root out all the good stuff for me!

Dang... I know this thread is old but I wish I got a free gold coin! :D Can't afford one and would love to have one... but maybe a few more years! Gotta look on the bright side I guess

I think the OP got free gold coin PICTURES, not a free gold coin.... :D

Well, your quote was him responding to me, and I didn’t give out any free gold, lol. I either sold him one or helped him find one, can’t remember. Be patient, you’ll be able to afford a gold one day!

I imaged that piece for him but I think he got the boot before he could post it.

I found the post that caused him to get the boot.
