1925 Peace Dollar, possible VAM?

Hello,

I recently picked up this 1925 Peace Dollar. I have noticed there is something between the '2' and the '5' on the obverse of the coin. I can not pin-point what it is exactly. Other members opinions as to what it could be would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

All known die combinations have a VAM number. You can find them at vamworld.com.

Looks like a prominent die chip....No idea if there is a vam number.....Cheers, RickO

    The pics looks blurry.

Better photos would be needed. I would guess it is a spot of toning or maybe a spot of glue.

Probably something stuck to the coin or a stain, maybe a planchet defect. Impossible to tell from these pictures. Needs to be something in the die to be listed as a VAM, and there is nothing listed for 1925 with a blob between the digits.

Thank you very much for the information! I am sorry for the quality of the two photo's but those two pics are all I have of this coin before it arrives in the mail. The VAMWorld website is a great resource and no information shows on that website as is mentioned, for the 1925 Peace Dollar, with whatever is between the 2 and 5. Thanks again everyone! :)
