For the macabre themed set

An interesting skull piece I never knew existed. This silver dollar-sized medal was struck in honor of Dr. Franz Josef Gall, a German neuro-anatomist and physiologist considered to be the father of phrenology. I’ll save you the trouble of googling ( I had to) l. It’s the detailed study of the shape and size of the cranium as a supposed indication of character and mental abilities.

This crazy Dutch piece circa 1587 contrasts the prosperity of the Dutch with poverty of the Spanish Netherlands. I never saw one of these before either

Why does the man in the middle of the dutch piece have three eyes?

I've got a third eye, you just can't see it. Peace Roy

In medieval times the symbolism usually meant “ the evil eye”. That’s my best guess

A lot :# . On my second box. The nice thing is this “set” can never really be completed which is great for a non completest. So many pieces I’ve never seen before. This has been a blast so far. Thank you

The Dutch medal is like a Dead album cover.

Yeah, the third eyed Dutchman gives a whole new spectrum to an already cool piece.
