A couple new darker side NEWPS

For the macabre themed set
An interesting skull piece I never knew existed. This silver dollar-sized medal was struck in honor of Dr. Franz Josef Gall, a German neuro-anatomist and physiologist considered to be the father of phrenology. I’ll save you the trouble of googling ( I had to) l. It’s the detailed study of the shape and size of the cranium as a supposed indication of character and mental abilities.
This crazy Dutch piece circa 1587 contrasts the prosperity of the Dutch with poverty of the Spanish Netherlands. I never saw one of these before either

Why does the man in the middle of the dutch piece have three eyes?
I've got a third eye, you just can't see it. Peace Roy

Cool medals especially the bronze Netherlands piece !
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Nice! How many skull pieces do you have now?
Latin American Collection
In medieval times the symbolism usually meant “ the evil eye”. That’s my best guess
A lot
. On my second box. The nice thing is this “set” can never really be completed which is great for a non completest. So many pieces I’ve never seen before. This has been a blast so far. Thank you

Very cool!
Cool pieces. I'm impressed with the planchet quality of the bronze medal.

Great additions!
The Dutch medal is like a Dead album cover.
My current "Box of 20"
Yeah, the third eyed Dutchman gives a whole new spectrum to an already cool piece.
