But they might still be made of real gold (testing would be necessary to confirm that).

I believe both are fake. Appears to be tooling marks on the reverses of both coins.

Known fakes from the 70's. All the ones we saw at ANACS were good gold.
Very crudely made fakes. The newer fakes being made these days are are vastly superior to these crude amateur attempts.

If you buy enough coins that are raw I would think eventually you’re going to wind up with a fake one especially with $1 and $3 gold.
