I would actually love to have this one in my cabinet...just not sure I'm ready to pay 7000xface.

Better than passing a note like I did in the 7th grade and the teacher intercepted it. :o:s

Interesting...that’s not a modern looking can but I still immediately thought can.

For that kind of money I'd have a modern engraver recreate it for much less. ;)

    What's on the other side?

At 7000xface, the message on the coin becomes redundant.

    Right!😅
And yet...the best of the best LTs, hobos, carved and engraved coins go for some serious coin.

I would have grabbed it and not looked back if offered to me at half of the present asking price...a price that many here would still consider wild for a common, damaged coin..

That would be one way to reveal the asking price..😅

It's even politically correct for the "Me Too" era.

Man, now I kinda wished I hadn't balked at that 7000x price tag...

I sold this a few months ago, an equally charming message!
I have been told that is a term of endearment in the Polynesian culture but can’t confirm…I know it wouldn’t fly in this country!

    That's a good one too 👆
I might try and repost this one every valentines day...

So I showed this coin to my wife today, as I often give her give love token earrings when cool ones pop up...
She said why in the hell didn't you get that one??
    Cuz it was $700..
    So??
    😅

Kind of cool but I would be embarrassed to disclose how much I paid for this piece to chuckle about for 10 seconds and then it's time to move on to whatever else I've got to show in my collection.

Not me. I have a whole collection of such pieces... unfortunately I'm not alone, competition is fierce for the best of the material that shows up infrequently at best...

I'm way past collecting boxes of coins that all look the same except for the date...🥱

The message was to the buyer of the token and not the friend.
