That’s a great looking Buffalo. I think I’d probably come up with a title without “scored”.
I am curious as to how the connotation of "scored" is perceived in this instance.
Was it like haha I cherry picked this, what a rip. I mean I paid good money for a 63, I bet Toys4geo was happy with the sale.
I occasionally find change in the parking lot or I used to do some metal detecting and find a quarter and think, Score!
Like the Spanish soccer announcer.
Then there was a club called Scores.
Sometimes in my line of work we have to make marks on concrete or rock and we would use the term "score"
Anyway thanks everyone for the nice comments
My initial impression was that you ripped the coin from the seller who obviously is a poster here and that would be bad form. But both you and the seller are happy so I stand corrected. Congrats on such a beautiful coin!
Back in the day, you may have 'scored' a nickel bag.
That didn't mean that you got a deal on it, stole it, or whatever.....Just that you purchased it.
Lovely Buffalo !

Fantastic example. Well done!!!

The color is astonishing! Beautiful. It almost looks like a "Frasier " sculpture color. ♥️

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Nice job getting that. I like the toning on it as well

With all terminology aside, that is a very strong 63 with some great original color. A nice addition to any buffalo nickel collection.
I would think that it would upgrade! certainly looks better than a 63, Great looking type two!
I really liked the color on this one. But I really need to clear some stuff out. I'm glad you are happy with it.

Lovely Buffalo !
Very handsome coin.
Hmmm, scored from the old days was when you were able to get some weed!
should be better than a 63, very nice score.
a.k.a "The BUFFINATOR"
The good old days when it was illegal. Kids today take it for granted, I mean ...nevermind
Great looking buff, love the sharp details and color.
Sharp Buffalo.
That's a really great one.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Nice! I see a gold bean in its future.
Lance.
Very nice, congratulations !!!
That's a hammered 63.
Real nice coin!
Too bad there isn't a "LOVE" button to select.
Full top feather AND a three dimensional tail. Extremely close if not a full strike. Couple of nicks on the cheek. but no
biggie.
To me, that coin is at least a 64.
Pete
Very nice. As others have said- a very good strike for a Type 2.
Collector, occasional seller
A nice Buffalo!
Feast your eyes on that beauty!!!
Beautiful Buffalo type2, very nice pick up!
a real score!
wonderful
looks better than a 63.
I would call this look “sunset at the South Pole” toning!
a.k.a "The BUFFINATOR"
Nice clash marks on the reverse!
