ATS prongs are known to deform soft metal pieces like white metal such as the following.

Is aluminum strong enough to survive in an ATS prong holder or should it be put into a PCGS holder or a full-gasket holder?

Read more on this particular piece here.

PCGS or ask and make sure NGC uses their "special" gasket on yours.

I haven't seen any aluminum damage... Then again I rarely ever look at anything in any services pronged holders.
