DD has amazing breakfast sandwich stuff healthier for you then regular fast food. My kid loves it and I get her to eat lol. The donuts aren't bad either! The price on the sandwich's is really low but they are smaller then normal American portions. Which I think are both good things.
I received a 1948D cent in change about 10 days ago. It now has a new home.
Sweet.
Ratty 1942 cent: 1c
Excited kid seeing a 78 year old coin in change: Priceless.

I'm not big into Wheat cents, but I'll admit it's cool to get them in change.

Nice cent and that was a VERY good year..... Cheers, RickO
Nice old cent ... nice!!
Is it me or does it look like Abe is smiling on this penny? I have to research this now. cool I think there was a certain penny that had a smiling Abe but was counterfeit? Anyone have info on this? Lol I cant remember what penny it was or year. I bet we will all see more of these coins in change because kids will be breaking into dads stash to go buy stuff with out realizing what they are worth.
Nice, congratulations !!!
It's a good way to make a few new friends as well. Jmo
Got a 1936P in Coin Star return - Just sitting there...
I found a 39 S Lincoln laying in the parking lot today. If not for the road rash, it may have graded VF.
That's a really good find..... scarce date to find in change... But the odds of finding it in a parking lot....1/ some really large number with lots of commas.
Recently stopped for fuel at a service station I frequent every couple days. Gentleman ahead of me was talking to the clerk, exchanging quarters for cents. After he left with a hand full, my turn. I asked what he was doing. She then informed me someone had come in with a couple rolls of " old pennies ". They had them in the change drawer. And he wanted them. Any left ? I got 11. Mostly 40's and 50's Phila mint. Did get a 38S and 2 - 1919 Phila's. She now knows to save any old coins for me.
Did some more inspection under better light....I think Fine would have been its' limit. Will try to photograph it today with the camera. My phone doesn't do macro well.
