Good books for Irish coins

I am wanting to start a collection of coins from Ireland. Any suggestions for the best books to get beforehand?

Which series? There is a nice book on Gunmoney, Seaby is the standard "redbook". The Spink book of English coins covers many of the Irish series but is again the "redbook" type. I don;t know of anything comprehensive on moderns.
Check out Chris Denton's site, www.dentonirishcoins.com and look at his book section for dozens of options.

I wanted an overview similar to the Redbook. I have seen the Spink book around so thanks for that info too!
Coincraft did a very good catalogue of Irish coins ca. 2000 that has a lot of collecting hints etc that are not found in Seaby or Spink catalogues. The prices are out of date and really not very consequential if you follow the market - but the information on the coins is fantastic.
