Just selling to upgrade to the deluxe leather edition for 3X the price.

Cheapest on amazon is $55 in “acceptable” condition.

That coin now resides with DL. I had sold it to someone who said they’d keep it....just to have it cracked out and sold. I loved it but very regrettably had to move it to further my early $5 set.

Crossed to 65 PCGS. Somehow that made it worth $14k more to the end user. I sold at a bit off a loss, but I was too much of a purist and didn’t see that value of crossing it and trying to play that game to make money. I’ve left quite a bit of meat on the bone for others by doing what I thought was the right thing and beneficial for the “purists”. It’s a shame all the way around, but it is what it is I guess.
