La Onza is the standard reference for 8 Escudos of Spain and the New World. Published 2004 in Spanish. This is the most recent edition and is difficult to find. The earlier (1986?) edition is available in English, but the 2004 edition is the one to get.
Very gently used. (My working copy is not as nice.)
