Columbian Exposition 1893

One of the numerous tokens of this Exposition. A little worn and looking cleaned. Brass 28 mm,8.83 g. Something special about it?

    Two things:
    1. It is not one of the real common WCE items, I've seen 4-5 pieces over the years.
    2. It has a removed loop at 12 o'clock - note the widened diameter on the Columbus side and the thinner rim on the building side most often associated with being struck with an integral loop. There will probably be removal marks on the rim.

Nice...I had not seen this one before....a tad worn, but still in nice condition. I agree about the removed loop...marks are evident. Cheers, RickO
