Here is a second 1916 doubled die obverse buffalo nickel that I have. I started another thread here where I pictured another 1916 doubled die nickel paired with a type one reverse which was not that well made. This one is much better and would fool some novice collectors. Of course it came from across the sea same place as the first one. I could see some unethical person
selling one of these at a flea market for a couple hundred bucks to a novice collector.

Yep ... the famous 1916 DDO.
In my opinion that would fool virtually no one who is an advanced enough collector to be in the market for a 1916 DDO.
