Here is one of the latest buffalo nickel counterfeits from china I actually bought this directly from them.
Really a good job, especially the all important date. But note that it is not going to fool anyone as they paired it with a
type one raise ground reverse!! I think koynequest has one of these too. In the past all Chineese counterfeits used a type
two reverse. They were all over eBay in the first decade of this current century.

And it's the super-rare type 1 reverse mule to boot!

Thankfully they're not knowledgeable enough to know it's not a doubled date only or are really hoping not many others know.

    Good share buffnix.

Last night I just came across another 1916 doubled die counterfeit I have and it is more deceptive than the type one reverse pictured above. Here it is and with the proper reverse. I could see some coin dealer at a flea market playing dumb and
getting a couple of hundred bucks for this from a novice collector. This might not look that deceptive to the experience collector but to someone with a lot less experience it could be a problem. This was supposed to have the word COPY on
    the reverse.

Like I said previously: The problem is not who makes the coin, but more with who SELLS it.
