How much is this complete set of Merc’s worth ?

Consider the average grade to be AG to GOOD.

16D, 21 and 21D have some value as do a few others, but mostly melt. More to you as you assembled it. I would just keep it.

That brings back memories. I looked through bags of dimes and found all except the 1916-D.

The 16-D is about as valuable as the others combined. Interesting how you refer yours to being AG-Good.

The ‘16-D would be easier to sell if in a holder.

I agree. The memories of finding all the dates are perhaps worth more than what you would receive if you sell. My brother loved Mercury dimes and filled his album over a thirty year period. He got into financial trouble and tried to sell them. The offer was negligible, so he kept them and handed them down.

I don't think the OP assembled the set. He seems to be dispersing someone else's collection

I would say between $400 to $700 but it really depends on the condition of the 16d.

But what if that's the only reason you have it in your possession?
