Our Director of Numismatic Education and Outreach has started an interview series with a few collectors in an effort to gain some insight into what they see in specific series. First up, is an interview with one collector who has enjoyed the hobby for more than 55 years and whose love of coins has helped create lifelong friendships.
We hope you enjoy the interview and look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks!

That's a beautiful coin from a great series to collect.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Beautiful coin!
Thanks for the link, interesting interview...Is there a reason the individual is not named? Cheers, RickO
I don’t want to detract but having the same design on all three denominations for so long... zzzz.. at least it didn’t last as long is the seated liberty series.
You mean 25 years like the law stated, sure wish we still changed them.
Great series! Wish I had started long ago!
Fantastic series and a really nice coin there.
