What the market will bear.
More if it were certified.

$50? I'll say yes for sure if genuine![B) B)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
What @291fifth said.
Well it is a key date. Better than a stick in the eye. Peace Roy

I think that is way under the money. PCGS has it valued at $285 in Fair-2, Numismedia at $435 in Good. If it were mine nd I had it on eBay, I'd start the bidding around $200, and drop it ten bucks a week until someone bit on it.

I'd never pay $200 or anything close to that for an 1877 Indian Cent in that condition. I wouldn't be a buyer even to use it as a space filler. It is just too far gone and really ugly.
+1
Prices for straight graded examples seem irrelevant here.
It’s worth at least the $50 you sold it for.
I would bet more than $50. I got $350 for this several years ago.
oh well i sold it on bst.
thanks for chiming in cause i dont collect us anymore

Early American Copper, Bust and Seated.
Wonder if any coin doctors buy these.....?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
If PCGS Registry only had "Genuine" categories you might get a lot more than $200. But a Registry for body bagged coins would seem to be a loser registry........
OINK
$100-$150ish.
Dave
Who ever wants it and what there willing to pay for it
I think you did fine @ $50
I would not be buying a coin like that, however, if found, in change or some random exchange, I would certainly keep it. Cheers, RickO
