Circulation Find....

TommyTypeTommyType Posts: 4,586 ✭✭✭✭✭

Ok...not THAT exciting, but certainly out of the ordinary.

(I'm not talking about the 2019D... ;))

Was going through my months(?) worth of change last night, and this 1943 steel cent pops up. I'd grade it somewhere in the AU realm, with minor staining.

Probably better than what you would expect from a coin circulating for the last 77 years! So, I assume it probably came out of someone's cent collection and being "returned to the wild".

Was better than the one I had in my Whitman, so it found a new home. Don't think I'll ever get so sophisticated that I'll stop sifting through my pocket change.

That came out of someones coin collection or accumulation. Neat find.

That is cool. I found a war nickel once, yet never a war cent.

I've only found them in Coinstar machines and in very circulated condition. I really should go spend them for fun.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

That is an interesting change find....rarely see them anymore. I have two uncirc, original rolls...I opened one a couple years ago and the coins are beautiful. Just took a quick peek at a few, did not empty the roll, and re-crimped it....They appear to be super high grade....Cheers, RickO
