I know this is off topic since it isn’t a coin. Typically, currency is not in my wheelhouse. But I do look at what I receive in change. Many of us likely do that. So I am sharing this recent radar note I got back in change.

Even the Branch Bank letters (B's)… I would call that one a TRUE radar note.

Nice!
Collector, occasional seller
Great find! Good eye to catch it.
Now that is unique.... I often look at serial numbers on bills... mainly for liars poker.... and I would have kept that one for 4 4's... Cheers, RickO
I wonder if your radar note was just "out there" somewhere, or if someone spent it from a parent or grandparent's collection??? Great find regardless.

Since it's dated 2017, it would seem the former.
Anyone know what modern lightly circulated radar dollar bills sell for these days? I'm curious if it's worth the expense of getting it slabbed. Very neat note and well worth saving. Suggest at least getting a Mylar currency holder to preserve it.

Okay. I'll ask. I know I'll get slammed, but I never heard of a "Radar Note" what is it and can I look for it? I seen the one above has a good liars poker hand with 4 4's in the middle, does that make a difference? It also has 2 6's, but they are separated by the 4's. I know nothing about paper money.

_A radar serial number note contains a serial number that reads the same backwards and forwards...they get the term radar associated with them because they are technically just palindromes.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Thank you @PocketChange for the explanation. I still am not a paper money collector but will know what I have when I see it!
