Questions are this shield nickel

Any feedback is welcome. I have this shield nickel and I am wondering if acetone will help and what details grade you would assign it.

Never mind I think it’s been in acid. I have two other nickels from the same lot with the same pitty like surface.

Acetone will do nothing for corrosion. It's an organic solvent.

Sorry....looks like that surface damage is not organic .... acetone will only remove organic residues. Those spots appear to be etched into the surface and attempts at removal will only make it worse. Cheers, RickO

That corrosion looks nasty. Unfortunately that makes it a fuller at best. Peace Roy
