Been there, done that (mostly large cents). And I have repeatedly purchased old auction catalogs or books, only to later discover that I already owned copies of them.

It can happen. I once found a slabbed coin under a heavy piece of furniture that had been there 10-15 yr had completely forgotten then when saw it in its ICG holder memory came back. A month later crossed it to our hosts at same grade.
I often find coins I had forgotten I had....I have boxes that have remained packed since my last move in 2008...and I know there are coins in some of those boxes. I wonder what I own?? I will look one of these rainy days...when I am not working or doing stuff outside... Cheers, RickO

Well at least your tastes are consistent.

That’s a good problem to have.

I did that with a wife, married one, forgot I was married to another one.
Did you know that can cause problems?
mustang, if I tried that you'd all be invited to my funeral.
Not if you're into polygamy. There would be plenty of places to live in Arizona and Utah too.
