Anyone ever see a $20 Lib Double Eagle with a missing scroll on the reverse? I have never seen it personally. Any help would be appreciated and thank you all...

    Grease filled die vs PMD.

Agree. Also it could be an over polished die. It's nothing that I'd pay extra for.

    Possibly a grease filled die.

I agree with the above and I would say no special premium....Cheers, RickO

Thx gentlemen. I didnt pay a premium for her related to the missing scroll. It is however this coin so several things going for it at the same time... at minimum, maybe adds character?!?

Looks like another nice CAC Gold example. The luster on this double eagle makes it obviously an AU example in my opinion.
