Help please! Possible double die obverse?

So I was coin roll hunting and I found this. Could it be a double die? Here are some images - The L of liberty and the S of trust look possible.

General questions for times like this...

What is the date/mm? Is there a known DD for that date/mm?

If you're going to be searching for doubled dies, bookmark these sites

If you think you found something, go there first to see if you can find an EXACT match. www.Doubleddie also has a tab marked worthless doubling. It explains the difference between mechanical and die deterioration doubling, which you'll find many and have no value, and true doubling

@Oliver ....Welcome aboard... Your cent is not a doubled die.... go to the sites recommended above and study the pictures and read the descriptions. New collectors often mistake machine doubling or die wear for doubled dies...Also, get the Cherry Pickers Guide... It will help in your searches. Cheers, RickO

  • Ok, thank you guys.
