1926-S Peace ("WAR") Silver Dollar

This one looks more like a War Dollar than a Peace Dollar. I thought of calling it Blood Eagle, but Aftermath seems appropriate too. The obverse looks like it was riddled with bullets, and the eagle looks like it’s covered in blood. A blood splatter pattern is also present in the sun’s rays. I don’t know what this red color is, but it sure creates an interesting, if not morbid, effect.

Well... that is an interesting story you have there....
That is not a coin I would buy... however, if it came into my possession, I would definitely give it an acetone bath...Cheers, RickO
