Was lucky to see this coin when I did. It was raw and has since been graded. A perfect piece of rare Charlotte gold for the type set.

I'm fond of it. It did what it was meant to do... circulate. It's also the scarcest date of the Charlotte Type I's, aside from the impossible '49-C Open Wreath variety.

I had to wait till it was graded, but I tried to buy it raw. It had the right look and it’s not worth passing up. If it net graded it still a great coin. It wouldn’t be the first time I took a bath😎
