Was lucky to see this coin when I did. It was raw and has since been graded. A perfect piece of rare Charlotte gold for the type set.

Congrats. That’s very nice.
I'm fond of it. It did what it was meant to do... circulate. It's also the scarcest date of the Charlotte Type I's, aside from the impossible '49-C Open Wreath variety.
One word...Awesome!
Holy 🐄 !!
...with an estimated 125 survival rare and a little over 6K mintage... a 7.7 on the rarity scale and the second rarest of all C mint dollars...
I would say thats not such a bad pickup Pickwickjr...

Thanks for the comments everyone. She has a hint of rose toning when the light hits her.
Very nice! And brave as well buying raw. I don’t think I would be as brave...
I had to wait till it was graded, but I tried to buy it raw. It had the right look and it’s not worth passing up. If it net graded it still a great coin. It wouldn’t be the first time I took a bath😎
If you don’t mind me asking, about how much did it cost you?
I’ll say It was a good price for the both of us. I feel good and they were happy also.
I really like it Pickwickjr... Nice wholesome Charlotte gold
Sounds like a great win-win. Congrats!
Fantastic pick up! What did she end up with for a grade?
nice score, I like.
Very nice piece. So glad she avoided the melting pot and harsh cleaning/dipping!
She graded xf40.
