Very nice find! FYI, to those of you who don't hunt coin rolls, errors like these are an extremely tiny percentage of the population of circulating quarters.
Perhaps this coin was accidentally (and recently) spent out of someone's collection - it's way too nice looking to have been in circulation since 1967!

It looks like it might be a triple clip but that took one oddly shaped piece of metal.
It looks like a slider. Most 1967's had this much wear by the middle of '68.
