Big shout out to @Atlascoin for another great transaction. 45 minutes from payment to receiving a tracking number - wow!
1808 Mexico 8 Reales in PCGS 63. Thought it was an 1808/7 and still on the fence after receiving it, so it will compliment the 63+ already in the collection (see below) and the hunt continues for a high grade over-date example

Here's the digit close-up. Looks like it could be based on the excess metal in the bottom of the 8, but definitely not as clear-cut as the one I've posted a few weeks back. Could just as easily be die rust, as you can see some around the date.

Happy for you !
Way to pull the trigger 😄
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
I saw that and checked for the overdate as well. Tough to find!!
Latin American Collection
It's actually one of the easiest to find varieties in the series, just rarely described properly in auctions and on slabs due to how small and varied the diagnostic can be. Second in abundance only to 1801-FT/M. I've seen about a dozen die pairs for this overdate with at least 3 distinct directions of the bottom stem of the 7 inside the bottom of the 8, one of which matches this coin.

Atlas never disappoints, nice one!
Thanks for the kind words!
Nice pickup @TwoKopeiki ! @Atlascoin is a great dealer indeed. Though, I wish they had more Mo mint stuff
Just to clarify, I still dont think it's an overdate, but definitely warranted an in-hand inspection.
Thank you for the awesome service!

No exceptions to that rule here, I see.
