This looks a bit different than the PCGS repunched date image and I can't seem to find any other references for this 1868 repunched date. Cherry Pickers Guide as a bunch but none seem to match. Anyone familiar with this one?

I believe that @howards is a subject matter expert on Shield Nickels.

Thank you for posting excellent photos.
Your coin is an 1868, reverse hub of 1867. (top star under E)

So the variety number starts with S1- . (Compare with reverse hub of 1868, those start with S2- ).
For RPDs, the next digit is a 3. So the applicable variety numbers are: S1-3000, S1-3001, etc.

Howard's variety population table lists 31 different RPDs for this hub combo.

Unfortunately, he does not have online photos of each one, so I can't tell you if yours is a known variety or a new one.
All of those new error/variety hunters should be steered to the Shield Nickel series. There are varieties galore to be found.
I love Shield Nickels!
Those are superb pictures and the RPD is clearly visible.....Cheers, RickO
I haven't looked at Howard's list but there are/were many undocumented shield varieties.
