I'll put in photos of what I think is a die crack. Let'"s do it one at a time OK.
Reverse corner of the memorial at 3 o'clock that goes toward 9 o'clock on the memorial step.
From what I see in the big close-ups it looks like the coin itself is cracked.

.
Please Maserati27, don't add in any more picture. I was told once that it creates confusion among peoples who follow the post.
Thank you
Best Regard
It would be nice to remove your photos.
It’s just an example of an actual cracked die I found. I’m a beginner too

Truly, UNBELIEVABLE.
I see the one on the back but not the rest of it. maybe its my eyes
I do see a die crack error.
I also see quite a bit of post mint damage.
Interesting coin to learn on but the condition of this cent makes it worth only face value.
Continue to learn.
witch one the 1988 or 2019
Peoples are talking commenting on a coin but I don't know which one they are referring to.
Therefore, can you please remove your photos of my post ASAP.
If you don't know how, please
Greatly appreciated.
I will post a better close up pictures later, Time to go remove all that snow.....

acadien, masarati did remove them. Now you have to remove the links from your post. The pictures will stay until you edit them out of your replies.

I think I see a die crack, but I can't tell which side of the coin it's on ... how much magnification are you using 60, 80, 100x?
I use 50 to 300X, if you are referring to the last photos it's the reverse, the last step of the memorial. One crack continues toward 8-9 o'clock and from there it split and another toward 11 o'clock.
I magnified the Observe and they are scratches. But die crack is evident on the Observe.
Isn't this a die crack loll.
That looks a lot like lamination.

@acadien ....that first picture looks like a die crack...second might be, not sure...Cheers, RickO
Thanks Ricko
Almost 72,000 posts, wow unreal man. Bravo
The "member" you are replying to - **@RICKO ** is not a man. It is a "Bot" designed by the members of the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) numismatics club. It is programed to respond night and day to certain posts. Ask it another question.
No kidding, you are joking right...
hey Ricko, are old are you...
I just dialed him up...the machine is off line at the moment. The problem the club is working on is he was programed to comment on fresh silver or copper. When an image is posted of a darkly toned coin, even the pretty ones, it shuts down,
I was going to post the number to the MIT Computer Science building for you to dial up @Ricko for yourself but it would probably be against the forum rules.
Another question....
"What kind of toning is best?"
@acadien.....Very, very old. Cheers, RickO
@JBK....Tarnish is never good....Cheers, RickO
ricko,
Lets play a game!
I will start.
Regarding the posted photos in this post,
Why did this happen to this coin?
What year and denomination is the coin also like to see the full picture of the observe and reverse?
Ok I get it this play game was for Ricko
