I hope we are not going to see a flood of "die crack errors". They may even prove to be of less interest and importance than the "rare" corroded Lincoln Memorial cent "errors". ;)

Lack of knowledge can be overcome by investing YOUR TIME & using the search engine.
There is a book entitled THE CHERRY PICKERS GUIDE. There are several editions. The older ones on EBay are the most affordable. Newest one may be available in some coin shops.

Some of the explanations in the book might start to answer your questions and fill in gaps of your knowledge.

You will see the difference between major varieties & those coins that command no premium. Some varieties command large sums of money. Pick up the book & come back with your questions.

There are Many many variety collectors of the type of coins you like at NGC coin forum FYI.

    Have a nice day

The current fad of looking for "errors" and "varieties" in pocket change will last only until the participants realize there is no money to be made in such things.

There are always new people stumbling onto the "Get Rich from Pocket Change" youtube junk videos to keep the seemingly endless parade of questions flowing. :#

Why would you not want new people to join us here? ego, If you don not like it DON'T read or post . Comments like yours cause unnecessary trouble where there is none just ignorance/lack of knowledge. If you don't want to help that's your right just like your opinion but they come with consequences. May peace find you.

Unless I missed it, 291 fifth didn't say anything about not wanting new people to join us here. Why is the assumption on your part that it is "new people" who post about die cracks? And, what exactly are the " consequences " for anyone who "doesn't want to help?"
