Mmmmmmmm . . VERY nice. OK . .premium that is what . . .$50 over a common??? Slightly better date . . . full apple cheek . . . old 'no-line' holder . . . possible 66 in my opinion . . . lots of upside and not much down.
I like it. If I had the chance . . .I'd be pondering hard. . . . . . .
I like it but it'll never upgrade with all those dings in the cheek, a better date coin in a holder with a bit of a following. I would consider at $150 pass at the price in the pic.

Far too many small marks on the face and neck. 64 by my standards.
Key word being small. No big or distracting bag marks. That’s a decent 65. Agree that it wouldnt Upgrade, though.
If you really like it And are planning on keeping it for A long time, $20 isn’t a huge obstacle to overcome. Otherwise, I’d make an offer for a bit lower.
It's a nice Morgan, but fairly common. The old holder is neat too, but it doesn't look undergraded (65 looks right).
If you are looking for this date and have the patience, you can be picky and find something as nice or better for $130-$155.
If you are just looking for a type example, I'd focus on the 1879-S through 1882-S and find a nice 65 in the $100-$125 range.
NO. That is high retail for an average coin. I would pay 120 if I wanted it. The coin can be bought in the same period holder with a CAC sticker with some looking and patience for about 150.
The price is a bit high.... and since I am not interested in the slab generation that deducts a bit more...The reverse sounds interesting... and would need both pictures to hazard a price estimate. Cheers, RickO
This.
I so dislike when the reverse decal is ripped off the slab I'll pass on the coin just because. I know it's petty, but it would always kind of bug me and distract from an otherwise pretty coin.
It appears to be a nice MS 65 with lots blast but I need see reverse and obv under a glass to really get opinion of marks on face to really decide for sure. Not an A coin.
I sold nice blast white one one (NGC 65) at $160 about 2 months (but believe it was better vs marks on face) ago bought from wholesaler next to me at show for $105.
I would say one in y photo around $150 coin. Advise shop around.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Is that a die crack going from the date through the stars?
Looks pretty cool, but agree it would not upgrade.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc

I think that I'd pass.

Nice coin! ... Worth it to who?
Nice coin, buy too much cheek chatter. I'd have graded it 64 just based on the obverse image....

I like the coin as a 66- but there is no money to be made at the asking price.
Many 1888's just as nice or nicer for less than $140. At $175 asking price, nah.
Not CAC. Need I say more?
