Occasionally the ebay special pricing is attractive but the days of 16.99 premiums on age maples etc are few and far between these times. A year ago I was able to pick up oz au bars at 2.5+ for valcambi.
No more. Fortunately I'm in an exempt state.

All the "big boys" now charge sales tax to us who unfortunately live in a State sales tax area. Get used to it or move to a State that does not have a tax on coins or bullion.

My state only requires sales tax below $1k. My concern is that eBay will charge the tax. I did check dealer websites, they have their tax set up properly.

10 4. True...My State, MD, does not have a tax on bullion or coin purchases above $1k. I believe ebay is aware of that,
