Well, acquired a cool Type 3 gold cac $20 Lib... interestingly enough, it’s the only gold cac Type 3 from the 1870’s that’s not from the CC mint. Kinda cool.
She’s pretty frosty in person!
...and the set continues to grow, while now having a gold cac from each Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, and also Saint Gaudens!

It definitely has MS luster. I was thinking 60,61-ish due to bagmarks, but its a pretty frosty nice piece.

The 79s is a 58 maybe + if the luster is better than the pic.
Might make a 61 holder with a light thumbing of the cheek and a dip and strip.
That might be worth less than as is though. But that isn’t how mid level dealers thought for years
