    It's a real cent that someone hit with a punch to give it a design as a souvenir. As someone already mentioned, you will fine a lot of varieties: individual states, Kennedy busts, etc.

    Yes. I believe some counter stamped cents have a small collectability. This I would say not. “Kissing Kennedy’s , Masonic Stamps” -Which I still enjoy. Neat to look at though!

    Aftermarket (done outside the mint) counterstamo.

    A novelty with a small degree of collectability, but a few collectors do save them.
