So I was lucky enough to take a few days away from work so I hopped on a plane and flew down to Daniel Carrs Open House for the KOTCT club. Dan was nice enough to overstrick this medal with his 2019 Apollo 11 Open House Die but only the Obverse. Dan took a aluminum blank and transfered the beaver onto the blank when he punched the medal. Here is a 3 way photo. I hope I explained that correctly.

Just read the whole post you are a luck man I was going to say someone made a crazy copy of a 573 I didn’t even know that was happening I could have sent some interesting stuff, I’m going to make it over to the moon light mint one of these days

Agree, He is quite a guy. Consider you all are lucky as if I had access to his shop when he went to a show, I'd make up all sorts of neat stuff!

Well ALL the thanks from me go to Zion as he really thinks outside the box and I believe this was all his idea. Any ways if it was not for him I doubt I would of though of this one! Thanks Zion.

I’ve been trying to get him to make a $20 fantasy piece of the Oregon exchange company territory gold that would be a take on the $5 and $10 maybe we should go in on it and have the dies made and a few pressed
