Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I'll definitely be there. The Tyrant collections that have been at Long Beach are beyond belief! Also, the people manning the displays are so courteous and friendly. They go out of their way to be helpful and guide you through. You really have to see it to believe it. Best numismatic experience EVER!

    Should be neat

I'm putting a top end set of MS and Proof $10 Indians together for a client. Thats a tough enough task, much less the Capped Bust Right and Liberty's

It sure beats a display of the finest known set of Eisenhower Dollars! :)

That would be an impressive set to view!!

Wow! I’d hate to even think of the insurance costs and precautions needed to get it there, display it, and return it to its resting place.

I'm not comfortable with this but it is a commendable thing to do for other collectors. AFAIK, there were no problems the last time Tyrant displayed some coins.

Can someone remind me again on who owns this collection? The phone number goes to Ira Goldberg....

The collector is anonymous. Goldberg helped him procure many of his coins

Will have to see if a day trip is possible - seeing the 1795 66+ would be worth the trip alone!

Just incredible. The $10 is my favorite denomination and this set is a good reason why. Wish I could make it but too much going on, enjoy it those who can attend

That is absolutely mind boggling...and to think it is just part of the overall collection of gold coins....Has anyone ever estimated the value of the total gold collection?? Way beyond my ability to even guess.... Cheers, RickO

I owned the second finest 1858, graded 1858 $10 MS61 PCGS for a few months and will state that it was such a special date. Can only imagine what 3 grades+ finer MS64+ will appear like. What a rarity.
