    Post mint damaged, I suspect by electricity or high heat. Still worth $0.05.

    OP is a nickel but here is a nitric acid and a penny demo.

    OP looks more like something very hot/molten was poured in the obverse and then acid applied while the reverse a rivulet of acid applied.

    Or, it’s a very bad mold reject. :D

    Regardless of what caused it, this is post mint damage. Your coin did not leave the mint looking like that
