Looks early-1990s to me. Dealer had a few of them and I was tempted. But my usually strong google-fu has failed me.
Look familiar to anyone?
We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

Not familiar, did you check the edge to see if there was anything there?
The reverse on this generic kinda looks like a knockoff of norfed gold rounds.
No. If it was it would say United States of America and a few other things

Kind of reminds me of the Statue of Liberty.... sort of... “Strong” face, nose... torch...
Edge is smooth. I didn't give it a really thorough look, but I don't believe there was an edge mark.

Ive had these in scrap lots before, was not a popular design, mostly I would guess due to lack of a manufacturers name.

Never saw that one before....but would stick with U.S. Mint gold anyway.... Cheers, RickO
I wonder if that G is a clue to the maker.
I think the G is the only distinguishing characteristic. Everything else--the torch, the motto, liberty, etc--are all super common features.
