I do hope that PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) does not do beanie babies.
But, the other arm of Collectors Universe, PSA, does beanie baby cards... ?

Collectors Universe, parent Corporation of PCGS, PSA, and soon currency grading.
Ah, the perfect time to start FRAC (Furry Rodent Acceptance Corporation)
I call those targets.
In this image you can see that the Beanie Baby does not appear to be fixed to the slab. I believe this is a called a Rattler.

Good for ROUS’s (rodents of unusual size)?
TurtleCat Gold Dollars
No cac sticker though....... do they have a beanie baby type of cac for the ones without wrinkles or no bent tags?
HAPPY COLLECTING
What about my collectable Supertanker? I have the original Exxon Valdez stashed at one of my moorings.
I was hoping this was one of those really old threads that someone had resurrected.
Ahhh...it does have a Bean...sorta...
Really?? I had no idea they 'slabbed' beanie babies....I remember the craze...a woman I knew would go to a fast food place that was giving them out with orders ....She bought the family dinners there three, four times a week for a while...Kiosks in the mall with some rare one's going for moon money... I saw one for $3500....Unbelievable, and now...nothing. Cheers, RickO
If this seems silly to anyone, look at what we do! Good dose of reality.

Kids had them in the 90’s totally worthless now
Can’t give them away
At least they were “played with” and enjoyed
You might look at prices realized on eBay before you throw out that conclusion.
At least they are progressive as there are no bars on the windows.
They were a fad that saw their day a long time ago. At that time I was too busy buying coins which had dropped to an affordable level.
Some of them Beanies are still going for $$...
Beneath the dignity of PCGS.
A box of 20 would be a little inconvenient. Crazy, but not so much more crazy than what we do......
I miss those good old days. Once a month I would drive my Explorer filled with 24 cases of Beanie Babies up the turnpike to meet my buyer in the Motel 6 parking lot. There I would exchange them for a box full of $100's and $50's . Occasionally I
would give a dozen or two to the state cops hanging out in the parking lot for their kids.
I wonder if theyll do cabbage patch dolls. Theres gotta be something to it
I vaguely remember Acc*gr*d* getting into grading these way back when. Since the date on the certificate pictured on the one above is 2008, maybe this was spawned of that operation.
This now has me wondering if anyone is slabbing gym shoes.

One of my retired things is travelling to Honduras to install clean water projects and correctly wire schools that have deficient electrical systems. We deal with a lot of kids. I find Beanie Babies, new with tags, at garage sales for 50 cents or less and buy them, and hand them out down there. They are TREMENDOUSLY appreciated by the children. At least of few of the beanie's will have purpose.
Might want to check the pile again. Here are the top sold listings on eBay. Yes, actual sales.

Oh facrissake.
Quick send in all the 50 state bears.
How about the Oil Patch Kids. They came already "entombed" in a barrel.

Who would even pay money have those graded?
What happens when they start oxidizing?
Do toned beanie babies go for a premium?
They certainly need cacs. How else are collectors to determine the premium vs. non-premium grade beanie babies?

I do see the grading listed as Museum Quality. Hmmmm... I wonder if they'll slab a Furby?
I hear you here....A friend of mine made enough off that craze to retire.....
You'd be surprised...................................

Pretty soon the sample slab guys will start slabbing slabs.
