I'm not sure what "this" is...

Normal quarters with wear from circulation. 1965 and 1966 Quarters had no mintmark and could have been produced at any of the US Mints.
There was a severe coin shortage back then.

Nice pics!
Yep that's my quarter alright.

have I seen a Troll post before? All the time.
Welcome to the forum! Yes, I’ve seen many of these coins and I spend them. First thing is to buy a Red Book from Whitman Publishing or get one from your local library. It will help you a lot with knowing what coins are valuable.

I see quarters that are worth 25 cents each!
Sorry guys knew this I was talking about the tea in God we trust that looked like it was dripping and also the bottom of the TV and liberty and the lines going through the date and that’s about it
Just damage on a well circulated coin.
We're seeing a lot of doughnut money today aren't we?
Welcome to the CU forums @RozzcoCoins88.
50 cents of coinage with a combined circulation age of over 100 years and holding up pretty well with all the PMD.
The coin was probably minted from overused dies to begin with. That tends to spread the letters closer to the rim. Add in 55 years of beatings and well, I see it every morning in the mirror.

@RozzcoCoins88....Welcome aboard.... Your quarters are examples of well used coinage, suffering from handling PMD...(Post Mint Damage)....No numismatic value beyond face....Good luck in your searches...Cheers, RickO
I count 11 cents.
Did I get it right?
? They really are good photos, tho. Wish I could do as well

Missing a 1965

What is the point of posting photos of ultra-common date circulated cents? They are worth one cent each.
You know your getting old when people post coins from your youth and consider them old and rare.

Nice pics. Yeah, I have a ton of these coins but hardly none of the valuable ones! I need to produce the opposite.
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. Why would you think any of those had any value higher than face value?
291fifth; If you're
replying to my post,I know none of his pictured coins are valuable. I'm talking about valuable coins

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I would strongly recommend that anyone collecting moderns NOT TO buy a Redbook. The 1965 quarter isn't even listed in this grade (chewed up XF). This is about as nice a specimen as can be found in circulation any longer. Coins like this bring a small premium on eBay. Lots of people are trying to put sets together and most of the older quarters look more like the '66.
Mintages are available on-line.

eBay sales are the best place to find what moderns are actually worth.
Ah yes, the most hated US quarter, perhaps of all time (Effigy Mounds is 2nd, except I like it).
When they removed the silver, the law allowed them to mint 1965 dates coins without mintmarks and they did so until early 1967 to restuff the pipeline of commerce... When I was a kid, every blasted coin you found was 1965.

I remember examining the first copper clad quarter from circulation. They were new, so the copper core was bright and shiny. It was quite interesting.
And yes, the copper clad coins were much hated, and avoided by collectors.
The race began to pull all silver coins from circulation.
I remember well the first clad I saw. It was Thanksgiving of 1965 I got a quarter that was an abomination. It was ugly chiefly because it was junk metal and represented a failure of the economy in my mind. It represented decades of waste and taxes. But it also represented the date freeze that would see 1965 quarters being minted forever. It was easy to foresee the day that all coins were dated 1965. Like many I used a chisel to try to take it apart.
The date freeze was lifted and mint marks were eventually restored but I still hated the coins. It wasn't until years later that the coins started getting interesting and it was obvious no one was paying attention.
That first quarter was actually a very well struck example. I remember thinking that if they're going to make garbage at least they are making it well. In short order you could find a handful of poorly made coins for each nice one.
If you want a nice 1965 quarter, go spend $7 or $8 on a 1965 special mint set. Same for '66 and '67.
