1974 Kennedy Half Dollar Miniature Size?

Hello everyone. Are any of you familiar with this type of "Aspirin Sized" Kennedy Half Dollar coin & if so can you please educate me with a brief history lesson? I'd kindly appreciate it. I've been unable to find anything about them online nor my literature.
Again, any info provided will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Not a coin. It's a souvenir. They were made in huge numbers and marketed as "shrinking currency" to represent the affect of inflation. They come in all denominations.

I have some of those electro shrunk coins (ASE's)....kinda cool. Same weight but more compact

I have read about the electro-shrunken coins, but never actually seen one 'in hand'....The OP coin is a novelty coin...Cheers, RickO
