I remember being a Webelo when I was younger. Don't remember going up to the Boy Scouts. Course, I'm 60 now. Lol

Grandfather was a Life Scout, war and depression sort of prevented him getting his Eagle officially, but he sure deserved it. Dad was an Eagle, I am an Eagle, my son also. Nice to get out into nature a bit, and plenty of activities to learn about respect and working together.

    That is quite a legacy.

My youngest earned the Eagle Scout award, and also earned all 134 merit badges. Covered both sides of his sash. However, he was most proud of the Hornaday Award for conservation. Over a 3 year period, he collected over 3 tons of abandoned tires (in the woods, in creeks and lakes, etc.), and out of his own pocket, paid to have them put into the recycling system. He did get some money back by selling the wheels for scrap, aluminum ones were best.
