I picked up this rookie pack today from a recent auction and now I have a matched set. Anyone else have any other basketball rookie showing packs out there?

    Gorgeous packs, I'm drooling!

    I have packs of 1986 Fleer Jordan PSA 8 RC Front and a PSA 8 Sticker RC Back. I'll scan and post tomorrow if I remember to fetch from the safe.

    Wow that 61 pack is amazing. Congrats on the pickup.

    Arthur how do you know the Shaq is a gold? I have a similar pack with Shaq on the back. I’m very curious!!

    @SpinFadeSplash23 theres got to be a great story here...how you picked it up...where....etc...also how do cards in packs have a grade? are they just grading the pack?
    please share...would love to know.

    I am not an authority but I think the pack has a grade not the card on an unopened pack. Maybe for a rack the condition of the card(s) including centering might matter more. But I agree with you, where in the crap does someone find all of these?

    The pack is graded on the condition of the pack only. For pack openers, your chances with the cards inside should remain almost the same regardless if a pack is a PSA 7 or a PSA 10.

    Yes you can see the word “Gold” in white on the back of the Shaq card.
