Anyone with knowledge of this coin please fill me in, I know it's missing reverse clad layer but are them also strike thru errors? Anyone know a value?

Yep ... it's missing the clad layer on the reverse.

  • Do u see the letters on the front and back and the smudge where it’s suppose to say chimney rock, this coin is 100% uncirculated

@Carmdogg708....Welcome aboard....Looks like a grease filled die to account for the missing letters....really need better pictures... and it does not look uncirculated....rim damage both sides.... Why do you think it is uncirculated? Cheers, RickO

  • Oh ok thank u, I opened up 4 rolls I had from the mint and they were all uncirculated

The US Mint doesn’t roll coins for commerce. Sold to the Federal Reserve and they or their subcontractors do the rolling.

That quarter does appear as a struck-through grease and as a cladding error... perhaps improper annealing?

It also appears that it has been touched quite a bit based on alm the tarnish on the copper side. Best time get it into a holder and keep hands off it to avoid any more damage.
